Return & Refund Policy

We stand behind the quality of our products and how well they work. If your products arrive damaged, defective, missing parts, or if they fail within 1 year of the original purchase date due to a manufacturing defect, we’ll replace or refund them. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 60 days for a refund of your product purchase price.


To cancel an order, please call Consumer Care at 1-800-442-7336 as soon as possible (Open Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Eastern) after placing the order. We'll do everything we can to accommodate the request, but please keep in mind that our order-fulfillment and shipping systems are designed to get orders on their way quickly and efficiently. Cancelation requests must be made, and confirmed, within 24 hours of placing an order.

Requests to change an order will require speaking with a Consumer Care Representative. For your protection, we are unable to modify an order in any way once the order enters our system. Modifications will result in canceling and refunding the original order, and a new order with the correct information will need to be placed. A credit card will need to be provided to process the new, corrected order.


All product returns are the responsibility of the consumer. Novelty Manufacturing Co. does not cover the cost of packaging or shipping to return the product back to our Lancaster, PA facility. All returns must be processed before a refund can be issued. Refunds apply to the value of the product purchase price and exclude all shipping costs. Items returned that have missing parts will be refunded less the expense of the missing parts. Visibly used or damaged parts that cannot be resold are subject to a 15% disposal fee. All other returned items in good condition may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Before returning any items, please call our Consumer Care Department to discuss your return or fill out our contact us form (select "Returns & Refunds" as your Nature of Inquiry). Failure to alert Consumer Care may result in a delayed or incomplete refund. Be sure to include the following information with your returned items:

  1. First and last name of purchaser
  2. Billing and/or shipping address
  3. Phone number and/or email address associated with order
  4. Order number
  5. Reason for return

All product(s) must be placed in an appropriate shipping envelope or carton. Returning product in its original packaging is recommended.

The customer is responsible for all returns, unless it is determined that a mistake has been made or there is a defect with the product. The customer is advised to keep the tracking number of any returned package to ensure delivery confirmation at our facility.


Products purchased from Root & Vessel® are guaranteed to be effective and free from defects for up to 1 year from the original purchase date. Any defective and/or missing part(s) will be refunded or shipped to the customer free of charge.

Customers should take photos of the defective parts, and keep the item(s) until told by a Consumer Care Representative to:

  • Discard or recycle the defective product(s)
  • Return the defective product(s) for further inspection
    • In this event, Novelty Manufacturing Co. will issue a pick-up by FedEx for the defective product(s).


Returns are processed 1-2 times per week at our Lancaster, PA facility. Once in receipt of the returned product(s), we will unpack what has been returned and inspect the items. Once processed, a Consumer Care Representative will issue the refund accordingly or contact the customer if there are any questions or disputes. We ask that you allow up to 2 business days for the refund transaction to appear on your credit card or PayPal account. Please keep in mind, some banking institutions take several business days to post the refund to the customer's account.


From time to time, Novelty Manufacturing Co. may run special promotions on their consumer websites. These promotions are for the duration of time designated to run the promotion only, and refunds cannot be issued for orders placed outside of the promotional period.

Any order modifications, where you cancel an item that qualified the order for a promotion or special deal, may no longer be eligible for that discount or promotion.
